1. Overview
Lead Casa Lawa’s culinary operations, overseeing daily kitchen activities, menus, and food experiences. Freelance role from March to October 2026, with the possibility of renewal.
2. Scope of Work
Manage kitchen operations for daily meals, retreats, house rentals, and events. Contribute to creative culinary projects, content creation, and food design initiatives.
3. Responsibilities
- Prepare daily breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for guests as required
- Supervise kitchen operations during large events (weddings, private parties up to 75 guests, retreats up to 15 participants) and source sous chefs and supporting staff
- Collaborate with guest chefs to maintain high culinary standards
- Purchase groceries and manage kitchen inventory
- Support creative culinary projects (for example Casa Lawa Cookbook)
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the kitchen
4. Requirements
- Can speak basic Italian
- Fluent in English
- Valid driving license and comfortable with driving (manual preferred)
- Own a company or be able to issue invoices
- Minimum five years’ experience in restaurant, bakery, or similar culinary industries
- Curious about hospitality as an artistic medium
5. Timeframe
Onboarding: 2 weeks starting 15 March 2026
Active contact: 15 March to October 2026
Possibility to apply for half season: April–June or July–October
6. Location
Casa Lawa; on-site presence required.
7. Contract Type
Freelance contract with gross monthly pay €2,000 for 40h/week, plus overtime and project-specific tasks
